Interior and exterior painting
Walls, ceilings and trim inside; siding, stucco, fascia and doors outside.
Wood finishing and refinishing
New cabinetry and built-ins finished for the first time, or worn finishes taken back and redone.
Staining
Color that goes into the wood rather than over it, so the grain still shows.
Distressing
Deliberate wear on edges and faces, for pieces meant to look like they have been lived with.
Glazing
A translucent coat worked into the profiles of a door or a molding, so the detail reads.

Stained, not painted

Two of the six photos on his Google listing are wood left as wood: the stained kitchen at the top of this page and this front door. On a finish like that there is no paint to hide behind. The color, the sheen and the evenness are the work.

Why this page exists

Stephen, you don’t know me. I’m Matthew, and I build websites for contractors on the Central Coast. I built this one before asking, because it is easier to look at a real page than to listen to a pitch.

Here is what I noticed. Your card calls you the Central Coast’s cabinet finishing specialist. Your Google listing just says “Painting,” with no website on it, so someone who finds you there never sees the cabinets, the staining or the 29 years on your license.

Everything on this page is already yours. Your six photographs, the service list off your own card, your phone number and hours from your listing, and the license details from the state register. The one thing I changed is the house number on the outside shot, which I blurred, since it is somebody’s home. Nothing is stock and nothing is invented. If a detail is wrong, it is wrong because I read it wrong, and I’d want to know.

One free fix, and it takes ten minutes. Your listing has one review, from 2021, with no words in it. Ask your last few customers to write a line about the job. That will help you more than anything I can build.

$950 flat if you want it, live in about a week on a domain in your name, and you own everything: the domain, the files, all of it. If it is not for you I will take it down, no hard feelings.
